I wonder if Christian religion forbids consuming alcoholic drinks. I know about other religions like Islam and Judaism which prohibit the consumption of any type or quantity of alcoholic beverages.

Both Bible and Christian traditions praise alcohol as a gift from Lord that makes life more joyful. However, the religion prohibits the consumption levels where a man becomes drunk. This level of consumption is considered as a sin.

    Dear Hunter

According to the old testament, Arson his sons and the priest were forbidden to drink alcohol when they went into the tabernacle to minister before the Lord. Also clear warnings can be seen in the bible book of proverbs against drinking wine or any form of alcohol.
